Playschool Admission

Angel will be 2yr old in May. Though we can start sending kid to school from the age of 1.8 thats April session but I dont want to send her so soon. So decided to get admission done now so that seat is reserved and will start sending from July onwards.

Searching good school for kid is quite important task as first school helps a lot in making chid’s behaviour and approach towards life. So we went to lot of school. There were some over commercialized , some too simple to kept to mark of today’s competitive environment. Some good schools are too far and their branches which are near to my house are relatively new. We spent a lot of time thinking shall we send her school which is quite reputative but far from our house or other one which is not that famous all but very close to my  house and third option was to select new branch of famous school. I like their curriculum and way of teaching too.

Lot of lengthy discussions, taking advice from frens, relatives finally decided to go for school near by, new branch of good school. Also took her to one of Baby Show school organised and she got “Best Dress Prize”

Now while we were preparing her for Baby show…i taught her school name..so after coming back from school….every morning she pack her bag…put books/shoes/comb..or anything which comes under her reach and wave us bye bye and say going to school and takes school name again and again.. It daily takes a lot of time for me to explain her ..that she will start school after few days ..She seems super excited about her school from now only

I now very well understand why parents become mad when they enroll their child for any contest

Read a piece of news in times of india about Baby Show organised by mother’s pride school. Me and HD got excited to read this as there was category of infants too ( 0-6month )…I immediately login to their site to register but it was not working properly so waited for two day and finally get her registered for contest.

..I thought it will be good place to socialize and see how she react with other kids..

Two weeks we use to discuss lot abt Baby show…We were desperate to meet other parents..and see kids..how they dressed up..how much they are interatcing…The other reason of my enthusiasm behind this show was..I want to see how angel reacts in crowd..does she easily get along with teachers and other kids there or not..

We did lot of shopping for angel for baby show and of course for me too ..Mom shd also look good

That day got up early in morning as timing was 9:30 – 12:30.Getting early on sunday morning is worst thing but anything for our darling princess. Tried our level best to reach on time but still reached 30mins late…

Af first they give us paper for filling quiz of Most Aware Parents. It was easy and i quickly filled out..Next was our meeting with doc..Oh my god..she asked so many questions abt vaccination..Now i know when is her next vaccination due but can’t recollect name..then she ask abt other vaccination and no answer from us..however HD managed to peep into vacciantion card in her hand and give some answer ..It was clear we not nearby even to Most Aware parent..

Next step was to meet teacher who was sitting with lot of toys..Angel just jumped into pool of toys..One toy (see- saw) was of wooden material and looks quite heavy…teacher said to angel..”Oh baby its too heavy take some lighter one” Now my sweetipie first took that heavy toy from right.. hand and life another one from left hand..:-) And a broad smile following on proud parent face She was making faces with other kids and busy playing with all the toys there..She also tried calling angel by her name and she immediately respondied..Nevertheless..she was qute impressed with angel……and my expectation to get some award for angel rises.She was making faces with other kids and busy playing with all the toys there

Next they send us to coucling section. there also teacher try to hold angel and laugh and gigle with her..Ifelt quite happy to see that angel was going easily with everybody..she was also trying to jump onto other parents lap to hold their kids..      Now the real motto of this whole baby show came into picture..They want us to register angel for thier preschool. Reason for ths so called apex registration is that we will get monitory benefit. I tried to explain her that its too early for us to decisde..she is just 6month..its still 2.5yr left..we are not in hurry…and other reason their branch is far from my house  ..i dont want to exert her by travelling 6km daily .Somehow after long discussion i managed to show my reluctance in getting angel registered for their school.

Last section was for me ..the contest was for “Most Aware Women”…thanks to my pregnancy book and lot of other stuff i read before angel..i know almost all questions ..i quickly completed it and hand it over to instructor there..

my heart break when they said..winners will be announced after one day..It was like tough wait..But next day i got call and lady over phone declared that Congratulations your daughter got “Most Active Baby” award..I was expecting this as i noticed angel was qutie active there as compared to other kids there in same age group….But there was one more surprise waiting for me..she told me tht i also got “Most Aware Women” award… :-)

We collected the prize next day.for angel it was rocking chair and for me two coffee mugs set. I felt more excited to see certificate. then started another long session of discussion with their business developement pannel for angel’s admission. I know this all activity is for getting business…( School is also business now). After getting prize it was more tough to say no..but i finally said..its too early..I want my daughter to enjoy her toddler days and wont send her anywhere before she complete 3yrs..
