What is your favourite anniversary to celebrate? – Post 23

Ideas about post stopped to take birth in my head ..so took help of Nablopomo promts. So today’s topic is “What is your favourite anniversary to celebrate ?

From childhood, I was always feel excited to celebrate my mom dad’s marriage anniversary ( 18th June).  Sometime if we are not able to celebrate their bdays due to xyz reason…me and my brother always make a point to celebrate their anniversary. And we also use to save from our pocketmoney to give them gift on their special day.

Every child thinks his parents are special and they give that extra special care to him. I m no exception to this thinking and I always look forward to make their special days extra special for them. Still remember when their 25th Anniversary was coming and for me and bro it was one of the biggest and most special event of life. Countless nights were spent in planning, making booking, making guest list, inviting people, deciding menu and planning for their gifts. We did that Jaymala procedure and them dad gifted beautiful gold bangles. Me and bro were not earning that time but we managed to give my dad mobile ( thats his first mobile and mobile was not so commen then) an dfor mom we gifted beautiful earrings.

IT was not surprise party but we didnt disclose much detail of function and my mom and dad were super pleased with the way we organised the party

Till date I always try to be with them on their anniversary

Appy Bday to my ramblings and angel tales !!!

                                                                              

Today my blog completed 1yr. This was the date one yr back when i first finally got the courage to write my first post after lot lot lots of procrastination. I was not sure whether i will be able to keep up this blog alive or not but there was intense desire to write down my feelings thoughts and journey of pregnancy. Imagine blogging with a small infant in tow. Only somebody with a lot of perseverance, patience and dedication to the task at hand could do it.

In my initial day i use to read lot of blogs …i remember days when i spent 4-5hrs at stretch in reading blogs…courtsey to bloggers to leave their url link  in comment section It was tough in initial day to think of topic to write so after kick off post i wrote abt weekend and then abt my fav ads on TV. Like everybody i too use to wait for comments on my blog and on this special would like to thank my first few frens who take time and stopped by my blog – Enchanted , Harsh , Kanagu. Then I started writing abt my pregnancy stuff  and found more frens in this blog world.

You can understand my obsession with blogging with the fact that i wrote post even one day before delivery and was admitted to hospital  couple of hours after hitting publish for this post

And after angel came into this world my first letter to her was the post which is still close to my heart.. Then came first recognizition to my blog from blogadda in the form spicy saturday pick for ” You know you are mom when“. Started writing montly updates from 5th month  onward . hope someday angel will read this and enjoy as much i enjoy writing these updates .

How come a blog summary be completed without mentioning about first award which came from Swaram..thanks swaram ..this award is still very close to my heart as its my first one

Blogging has changed a lot in me. This is one thing which i feel i do for myself and for mother in me..its like knowledge hub as i learnt a lot from fellow bloggers who share same worry , fear , excitement , guilt etc as a mom/dad.  Because of thngs learnt here only i feel more confident that i can raise my daughter in excellent way.
