Year 2010: Flashback

 Last year i reviewed year in this post. And here is flashback for 2010…

•  Achievement of year : Clearing PMP (Project Mgmt Professional) Certification. This was my main goal
  and achieved at right time so this one is first in list. Completing this on time gave me feeling
  as if all resolutions of 2010 are achieved
• Buying a flat for investment purposes. Its small one which we brought to add into property,not for
  shifting and living there.
• Started going full time to office from last month. This was main pain area..Thought of leaving angel and going to office gave me nightmare but it turned out well when I started going to office full-time from 15th Nov enjoyed meeting with old frens, making new frens at workplace.
•  Moved to new deptt at office…all together different from my technical profile earlier..throughly
  enjoying the change
•  Brought new car – Tata Manza white colour on Diwali. Hubby was looking for big car from long so this
  is actually his achievement. I m not too fond of cars
• Had nice vacations in Manali..first time with angel and she really become angel during trip…not tantrums,crying etc..It seems she enjoyed more then us
• Now Angel’s milestone…There are too many to write so I m just writing major ones.
  She started crawling in earlier feb
  Started walking in May before her first bday …I so want this and she fulfilled my wish
  Started speaking few words in July
  From september she started speaking lot of words..She repeat almost every word she heard from us.
  I got realisation that a chatterbox is under construction and I shd prepare myself to get
  bombarded with questions next year when she will be able to speak full sentences.
•  Got into habit of reading and read lot of books this year mainly indian authors and chicklits

2009 – A Flashback !!!

On the last day of year..nothing can be more good then going back down the memory lane and searching some cherished moments of the year!!

• Year start on a good note as i was pregnant and it went all way very smoothly , no hassles , no rush calls to doctor.
• Got work from home in april as that was 9th month..this was the best thing i could ask for in last days..Sometime i feel i m working in gr8 company who understand employee need and do everything possible to help them out
• d- day – 13th May – the day which i will cherish throughout my life, the day when my angel came into this world and change my perspective toward life. I wonder what i was doing before becoming mom…coz i spend my 99% of time with her only now
• June – toughest month as i was going through post natal depression for few days, change in sleep pattern…oh no there was no pattern even….2 in night and 2 in noon was same for me..Always alert to respond to small coo or pee or poo of angel
• Next two month were good from learning point of view….As they say you learn more with experience rather than books…My 100 hr spent on parenting books before angel were hardly of any use. Raising child is much different as mentioned in books ..No body told me that you will not sleep properly for at least a year..there will be no day and night,:-)
• Mid september came with tension as my maternity leaves were going to end…Lot of thoughts cris cross mind..how i will manage angel , my work and home too…but due to immense help from mom and office colleagues…i am still working from home and so far things going smoothly
• Mind work more on noting angel milestone then in office work Is there life without kid. Felt like experienced mom now who can go on and on if somebody ask abt anything on child food to vaccination to healthy diet to crawling baby tips..etc etc….
• There was not even a single outing this year…I dont know how parents manage with their kids in flight or picnic area etc…We are too use to of leaving her with mom even if its smallest work at market.
• Got good news in dec that work from home is extended for few more months…
• Angel gave me new year gift yesterday by saying Mummy first time…ya she clearly said Mummy.
• Next big thing of life other than angel was blogging. ..a new medium for me to share my journey of motherhood, get to know abt some creative writers, new friends, some mother & father blogs which enhances my knowledge too and I m so hooked to blogging now.
• At last Just want to say thanks to all of you friends…and a wonderful new year ahead !!!
