My dad got retired couple of months back and he is completely enjoying his hassel free life…no getting up early for office…no work tension….free life which everybody desires at fourth quarter of their lives…..I m happy for dad and he pretty much deserves this as he spent whole life in trying to fulfil family needs….
today morning only he called up and told tht he is going to Nepal with frens for one week….Mom was also excited abt this as dad is utilizing his leisure time…..I said mom also to accompany him but as usual answer no no …cant leave home…it will be problem for bhabhi in managing also…..
this made me think when my mom will get retirement…she is doing household work from ages ….still doing it proudly and will continue it in future also…why there is no fix age of retirement from household chores also for women,,,same is condition at my inlaws house…dad in law is retired…he use to get up late…enjoy his newspaper with garam chai… ..do what all other retired ppl luv doing but mom in law..still in trap of kitchen….
Strangest thing is that they are happy abt this…they dont want to free from this…In old era it was like when daughter in law will come ..mom will relax but now with working ladies like me..cant give sufficient time at home….so moms have to continue their duty as home maker
Its good to be quite active at this age but there shd be some time when moms can also say bye bye to kitchen
