Tiny titbits of angel’s world !!

Its been really long that i have written about angel’s milestones or activities. It seems she has changes so much in last 2 months. Suddenly she behaves like a big girl

Independent… -> As I said above she is big girl now and want to do everything on her own which include eating food with her own hand…inbetween i m allowed to put some bytes but mostly she eat with spoon and put 25%food inside and 75% outside . She also like to bath with mug/shower on own..When she is done with playing with mug/soap etc etc i quickly bath her in couple of mins.. she also want to run on road instead of going in her pram when we go for walk.

Naughty :> Naughtiness has increased many folds..I m feeling troublesome 2nd yr with angel U will find her either pulling cds outside from dvd/tv trolley ( Gone are days when she just use to pull things out of drawer in which i use to keep extra stuff or her toys ) , or trying to get on sofa and from there to comp table and standing on comp table throwing things which are on near by showpiece wooden stand Sometime she throw laundry out of laundry box, turn it and start using it like walker and roam around whole house. She is intelligent enough to put it upside down so that i can make more noise.If she keep it straight it wont make sound as it has rubber at bottom .

Extremely Friendly:-> She is very friendly when she saw anybody from distance. Dont think that she will go to you easily on first meeting …she like to maintain some distance ..or better say her own space    With Mil she spend lot of time standing in balcony and calling all neighbours. Because of angel i know lot of neighbours with whom i never interact earlier. She is kind of famous in my colony because of her bye bye to everybody and shouting /calling them from roof top .

Love for Utensil :-> She is perfect girlie in terms of luv for kitchen/utensils..We have one utensil stand which is kept on kitchen floor in addition to modular shelves. Now her fav timepass during noon is to bring utensil one by one out to dining hall and also put them back again After finishing one or two round with utensile ..she start bringing potato/tomato or other veggie which is kept in near by stand

My Mil & FIL stays on first floor and we are at ground floor…So when angel is enjoying her evening balcony time with mil she bring utensil either from kitchen or some time her own bottle /feeding bowl and throws from first floor to ground..she do same thing with MIL’s sleeper, her toys and any other thing which comes under her reach…To outsider it may sound like there is fight going on between me and MIL  :lol:

Angel’s fav words :-> from last one month or so she started saying “ba” that means bahar ( outside). Whenever she want to go outside she will say ba ba and stretch her arm outside..ITs most funny when she do this immediately after getting in morning with her eyes still half sleepy    She also started saying be means bethna ( sit) That means she want us to let her sit on sofa top or on table or any unusual think u can think of . Sometime she picks one word and keep repeating the same whole day like addi for calling her daadi. And these words keeping on changing .

Stroller :-> I brought stroller for her before our manali trip. Later on i felt its waste of money as we hardly used it till few weeks back. One day i put her in stroller and roam inside house only and she slept there….It was Eureka moment for me..What a easy way to get her to sleep. I felt as if i have made a big discovery.. Another mom can understand my excitement of finding easy way of putting ur kid to sleep. After that it become routing habbit to roam inside house most of time in stroller and every time its not for putting her to sleep ..sometime its just for giving some rest to her every running legs…Sigh how much she walk/run inside house….

Am i same mom who use to wait just 3months back when my daughter will start walking…and now i think omg when she will sit for few mins/seconds    She sit with utmost pride and her face smile like she is princess taking ride of her kingdom

Understanding :-> She mostly understand what we want to convey to her..Like sometime to keep her busy i say ” Nanu go to store room and bring your toybox” she will immediately run toward store and bring the toy box. Empty it play with it for 2-5 mins . I m also trying to teach her to put things back. Whenever i saw put the toys back in box. She will put one or two inside and then quickly put the lid. Then i show her that they are still lot of toys outside..and open the lid of box..then she will put two three more inside and put the lid…   Always in hurry in finishing her job

Teaching Time :-> Recently i  taught her about body parts like where is your nose, where is your eyes and where is your head. She learnt it too quickly . However if HD or anybody else ask her where is your nose..She will run toward me and touch my nose ..so i think my lil daughter feel only her mommy has nose.head and ear    and you have to ask her in sequence ..first you shd always ask abt nose otherwise your head will become nose and vice versa

10 on 10

My lil angel has completed 10 months and there is so much to write that i m feeling one post is enough or not She has lot of changes this month. First and most important is memory..She remember things now and respond appropriately

She hs starting waving hand to say bye bye ;-) So now a days from  morning good morning to good night ..she keep on waiving hand…she waive hand immediately after getting up , during playing eating , crawling ,..also when we say No No to something…..She think she has to waive hand at saying no also    ..but there is one thing on which she refuse to say bye….when somebody is actually going out   she keep staring /crying /babbling / calling when me or anybody else in house leaving room 

She always make all things up and down now..In 5 min my house look like victim of some major earthquake…..

She has also become fussy eater…she doesnt like most of thing now which she use to have fondly earlier like cerelac is big no no for her..

She luves :-

• Oranges..she just crazy abt this damm fruit..she will eat it even she is not at all hungry..and forget abt sharing..she can even snatch it from your hand and gobbling in her tiny mouth
• Her second luv – me of course
• her grandparents and our living maid
• grapes
• Waiving hand for bye bye..Morning starts with bye bye…she keep on waiving hand while eating,playing, crying anything and everything has to be with bye bye
• My main problem and her fav thing to put EVERYTHING in mouth …It sometimes include weirdest thing one could imaging….One sec out of sight and papers to book covers,napkins , sometime those things which even my maid couldnt found while sweeping..she found while crawling
• Newspaper…..she luv snatching it from HD and my hands…sometime i give her  matrimonial or other waste stuff and she refuse to accept it and insist on taking the one which i have to read

She hates

• Shampoo – she just doesn’t like me using it for hair wash..otherwise whole bath stuff is quite fun these days

Things the makes me crazy

It’s impossible to make her sit at one place during changing clothes/bathing/diaper change/comb session.

Let her sit on floor/bed and she will run toward forbidden stuff…Sometime I feel whole day I just try to pull her back from where she is heading…

Once her tummy is full ..she will start spitting the food on her high chair and then she start playing with whatever has come out of her mouth…

She can open drawer now and put out everything from drawer…Also whatever is on dressing table…I dont have locks for drawers and I cannot empty them..where i will put all this small small stuff Plus I luv seeing her throwing everything wiht bang and giggling

Major achievements

Biggest achievement is that she has started sleeping whole night..She sleeps exactly at 9:00 PM.. then get up at 1:30 AM..have milk and sleep again till 6:00 AM..She is so peculiar abt timings tht it’s like she is following some alarm clock …and i luv this routine…Its rest for me too after tiring day

She can climb one stair now in a very cute way..very carefully , protecting herself..as if she know what will be outcome if she fall off

She is very close to walking now..can stand for 5-10 secs without support…I hope next month i will write voila..she is walking or directly running

9 Months in…9 Months out !!!

13th Feb 2010 – I completed 9 month in this world and my mom is too busy these days struggling with office work and some studies too so i thought of giving my updates myself..clever me

Also I am very confident person now and can do lot of things on my own..like putting food inside my  mouth..though mom doesnt like it much as i split lot of food outside too…but i luv seeing her angry look…which fades away with my smile…I very well know now how to woo my moms heart…a simple smile and she is all mine

I also luv tickling…and mom dad enjoy that  most with me Also lil independent me can crawl more on floor now as there is less cold so ..mom finally agreed to letme find my ways to that dark corners of house, behind sofa where all tiny leftover, long forgotten things reside…and also under mom’s study table…

Also I have 7 teeth now….though mom always says that she miss my toothless cutie pie mouth..but i luv sharp teeth of me and luv biting mom every now and then…And i never bite dad and mom hates this…why this  inequality  First 15days of this month were tough for both of us as  I use to feel irritated a lot due to my teeth…but now i sleep whole night

I have a big toy basket and i luv taking toys outside of it…banging it on the floor and also with each other..and sometime putting back and also after pulling all toys out ..i also find my way inside toy basket…its so much fun sitting inside basket. Also i like playing with katori, spoon , deo bottles, everything whichis there on dressing table.

Earlier when i use to get up…i use to cry so that mumma come running and hold me up..but as i m big girl now so i dont call anybody ..and take full benefit of being alone in room and jump toward side dressing table and pull and push everything down  :wicked:

I also take foods like adult now..chapati and less spicy dal or mushroom peanut or cheese curry….i simply luv that Mom also finally realised that i dont like sweet food..so instead of giving me sweet oats..she now prepares yummy delicious salty spicy oats for me with lot of vegetable

I like throwing any or everything in my hand down…and let mumma pick it and give it to me..and then again falling down and picking again…its so much fun doing this

Started saying ya ya ya this month instead of earlier ta ta ta

Started using high chair…i usually sit there till half food is over..and after that i feel like jumping out

Eight Month Update !!

 

Her fav place is corner of kitchen where the most precious element of our house reside…my angel’s fav dustbin the moment we get her into walker ..she run toward dustbin.the only way to stop her is to close the kitchen door..Once kitchen door is closed next target is dark areas like under study table where electic socket is there and TV wire which she normally pull like its her swing..

She is perfect in crawling now and she also know that if she will cross the bed.she may fall….she always run toward corner of bed and then start looking at ground but never try to jump from bed smart girl indeed

Once her tummy is full she immediately removes the bib or her apron …and with a clear looks on me that her stomach is full and i shd stop pushing more food inside

Her fav game is peek a boo …even at midnight she play this with her dad…and whole day with me..this is our instant solution to stop her from crying

She easily feel bored with her toys…doesnt matter how attractive or expensive it is..she maximum play with it for 3days and after that if i try to give the same to her..she will immediately throws it..Now obviously i cant buy new toy every other day so i started toys with which she is bored and show to her after few days .

She is more interested in playing with my cell phone, empty boxes, wrappers, her diaper,clothes , tv remote etc

Few nights in this month were really miserable for her as tooth period going on but all her hard work of endless irritation on head and irritation in her gums pays off when we first saw bright white  line on those small gums So now she is proud owner of 2 lower teeth and 2 upper

Changing dipaers or clothes has become very tough. It’s really really tough to get her sit peacefully and let me do my work. Sometime I m lucky to interest her in some toy or cloth or any box) otherwise struggle continue to even 30mins… Sometime I feel two ppl are needed to change her cloth…One to laid her down when she protest loudly and violently and other can quickly finish the deed

She hates to sit..always try to stand up..now she can hold bed back and try to stand the thing which stump her is how to sit back so either she just do dham and fall back on bed or start crying so that I shd rush and rescue her

now a days she babble coos and smiles a lot…her fav word is Ta Ta Ta Ta ta ta….the moment i say this she start repeating ta ta ta ta…and she make sound like grrrrrrrrrr…like running scooter sound I have recorded her voice  in my mobile and whenever I play that in front of her…she starts smiling and also singing her ta ta ta again.

She just can’t withstand cap on her head…despite of this freezing cold she refuse to let her skarf or any cap stay more than 2mins.

I have started giving her sooji kheer and boiled and mashed potato and peas.

Achievement of the month – 4 white glowing shiney teeth

Moment of the month - At night while sleeping next to me..she put my finger inside her mouth and pressed it with full force under her tiny teeth….i was in deep sleep and not at all ready for this sudden attack and litterly shouted and she started crying..and tried to put my finger back in her mouth so that she can bite

7th Month Update

I felt this month passed so quickly..I have to think hard this time what shd i write ..

Well here are few of angel’s achievement..

She started spending more time in walker..Infact whenever i m tired…i put her on walker..she just fly in all rooms…feel tired..and i get her to sleep…this work almost everytime

she want to stand all the time now…she just hates to sit.

she recognize the poem i sing for her….if she is crying and i start reciting poem.she will smile immediately

She stares, smiles , play with strangers too…it seems my lil princess is turning into social person

Started giving apple and other fruits…I cant say what are her dislike or likes..she eat pretty much everything i put in her mouth

We left her first time at home with mom for more than 3  hrs…to be precise for 6hrs..and she didn’t miss me  :-(  ..she actually cry only if she sees me..if i m not around and she is getting her toys and food…thats more than sufficient for her

She respond very well to her name…this was one of the habit we developed in her before baby show..

she get up lot of times at night these days and i m having really tough times..   Still trying to recognize whats the reason for this sudden change of sleeping pattern..may be coz of winter season..

Now when she cry.tears come along…earlier it was only crying  through sound…

6month update

Today is half century day… Angel completed 6month today…and here is her 6month achievements..

She can sit properly now.thought not for that long time …and she loves to do that…so its like sitting, falling , sitting , falling and that goes on an on

her fav dish is me yes you heard right..she luvs to eat me..keeping on eating my face, my hand, my hairs splly…if u give surprise visit to my house..u will find me always with distorted hairs

Last week only we let her sit in walker….she simply loved that..she just goes backward…its like she is learning reverse walking

She started saying few words like bua…pa pa….sometime..very rare..ma

On food front there is good progress..i started giving idli, kheer and she is liking both

elders say that its not good for kid to see himself in mirror…i dont follow this and we spent some good laughing time in front of mirror..whenever she is crying i put her in front of mirror..and she feels so happy try to grab her image or simply laugh after seeing herself laughing in mirror…

whenever i eat something while she is sitting in my lap…she keep on staring my hand and food..its like she look at food first then my hand grabbing food and hand putting food in my mouth and then me chewing it…..she look as if she is hungry and i m eating and not giving food to her …sometime her serious look at food and me ..makes me feel guilty that i m eating and not sharing with her..splly when i ear chocolates….

I also started giving her apple piece and sometime carrot..she keep on sucking it till it become thin slice

She is social person.easily goes in anybody’s hand….

she loves taking bath…do all jhap chap..tap tap in her bath tab…..but cant tolerate for a second normal water…lukewarm or hot water is must for her..

Crawling is at full speed now but on bed only…i give him target like placing any toy far from her…and she use her all energy to grab the toy..

she recognise me very well …when ever she is with granny and i enter into room she start screaming and try to push her towards me…..i simply luv this habbit of her..it makes me proud and i m most important person of her life:-)

My lil angel is 5months old now…my big girl…she actually look like a big baby..

Angel’s 5month update

 

 

she can roll over easily  now and luv sitting in this position..however as she cannot come back to original position so cries after 5mins

 

Started giving semi solid food…she like wheat /rice cerelac….however i have to push a bit to give porridge or any dal water to her….she like apple juice too…

she always crave for attention…she is doing this from 2nd month itself..but this month its kinda  more…i cannot leave her alone even for 5min….if i do she will scream in her highest pitch..

 she started sleeping on side….if i try to make her straight..she will rollover in fraction of seconds

she has become more active now….always want to hold some or other think in her hand…and try to gallop every thing in her mouth…as if her mouth is as big as universe and can accomodate everything including sofa , bed , chair , clothes , teddy bear..etc etc.

I luv singing few poems for her..she listen to them carefully..though i knew only 2-3 poems only…Uff my knowledge  abt poems is so poor …I remember Johny , Johny – yes papa …one fully…

Her sleep has reduced a lot…At day time she hardly sleeps…..but night are much peaceful…

Her bath tub seems to be short now….she  move her arm leg and leg at such a fast pace inside tub sometime tub just rolled over…i have to be very careful now..

It takes more time to feed her now as she just turn her face even with miniature sound …while taking semi solid food she nearly inhale spoon with my hand too

she expresses herself in her own way…like when she is hungry its grrrrr….like saying give me food fast ..when she want to sleep she cry in her loudest pitch…when she is just want to go out..mostly in evening time..she will start crying and look toward gate…

When she wake up in morning and i smile at her saying good morning she smiles back at me..even she is half sleep…

she smiles a lot…u just have to widen ur lips a bit ..and she will give u back a widened smile..and if i make funny sound…she laugh like anything… Its possible that u fall in love more with your child ..the more u stay with her…these smiley moments in early morning hours make me feel..how much happiness she has brought in my life…i dont want anything else now…

When she is in dadi’s hand and i go to her room…she talks to me in her own language..like ua ua aaa aaa..as if she was saying where were u mom….i was missing u and now she also try to come to me..yesterday she just push her arm a bit toward me when she was in her dadi’s lap….

she doesnt like her potty box…always start crying badly ..whenever i try to make her sit on it….

Moment of month -> I finished call with my mom and put mobile near to her…and went to kitchen to prepare some food …she just pressed some button and call went to mom again….when i came back to room..my dad was saying hello hello and she was making her regular aa aaa sound….I was like..did she dialed phone…for 2mins i was nearly stunned and happy too….my lil one can make phone calls on her own to nani and nanu…
